A Mischaracterization of Water

Searching; Google Photos, Things, Reefs.

If you are one of the few, not using Google Photos; stop reading this, right now. Go download and install Photos from your Application ecosystem of choice, then take a few pictures.

Google Photos is a great way to interact with your images and create new ones.

When performing a search in Photos, categories emerge revealing; People, Places, and Things. The “Things” category is where we find these pictures from Saturday July 18, 2015.

Now the categories populated by Google are often spot on, but sometimes they are not. These photos taken in a pool with a GoPro are obviously not of Reefs, but there is water; so it’s close. There are photos of Reefs in the Reefs category; which is awesome, not awesome is the lack of options to edit a pictures category.
